I just saw
Miss
Julie walkin' down the road
Now she is not good lookin',
she toasts too big alone
Now she is fat and sassy, face looks like a fan
I think she weighs three hundred,
she can yodel like a man
Yodel -ay -dee,
yodel -ee -dee -dee
She sings at all the parties,
sings some good old tunes
Makes me want to kiss my gal when
we walk out under the moon
She plays a five -string banjo,
plays it good and loud
I've told you she ain't pretty,
but she can please the crowd
The old lady, the old lady
Lady
Vee.
Now she don't go for courtin',
saw her kick a man.
When he tried to elbow her
, she let him understand.
She surely wasn't fooling,
she left her brand on him.
She kicked him where the past
is right and nearly broke a limb.
The old lady, the old lady.
Play it, boys.
I think she's 37, she looks that old to me
But don't you say I told it,
she says she's 23
I've never wrote much poetry,
the best I've done is this
But don't you tell
Miss
Julie, she'll kill me with her fist
The old lady, the old lady
