Winter Wonderland
Black and white leave me alone
There appears a
symphony of greys
Here I ride alone
Winding down from the mountain tops
Evergreen stands so tall
They make me feel so small
Snow falls lightly on my face
It can't erase the scars
I can't do nothing at all
Part the seas for me,
let me stand on the mountaintops
I have this message for you,
take it from me
In this barren land, no one walks,
no creatures stir
In this winter wonderland
Eclipse the
midnight sun
Icebergs break away as I run
I have this message for you
Now let me speak
In this frozen land
Gods nor angels do attend
In this winter wonderland
On this journey through the ice
On this passage through midnight
It's time you understood
I take no more than I can give
It's time you understood
It's far more blessed to
give than to receive
We all cross oceans of time
in our own little way
Unrecognized to love,
even from so far away
I don't think that
I'm too special
with this gift I do display
Why are you so afraid?
Why do you have to go
away?
I have this message for you now,
let me speak
In this frozen land,
gods nor angels do attend
In this winter wonderland
It's time you understood
I take no more than I can give
It's time you understood
It's far more blessed to
give than to receive
God s nor angels do attend
