Colin Buchanan, Infrastructure, Differential,
Tolling, you are the Premier,
how do you save the state?
Well actually Richard,
you inspired me because the question said,
who will save New South Wales?
Who will save New South
Wales?
So I thought I'd...
It's a good question.
I thought, yeah.
They'll save the forests of Brazil,
they'll save the ice cap
and save the krill, they'll
They'll save the ozone,
save the seals,
and save the Bengal tiger
They'll bail the US mortgage banks,
they'll save Iraq with
bombs and tanks
They'll save the mighty rabbit -o's,
but who'll save New South Wales?
Queensland's doing fine,
South Australia's got their wine
WA has got their minds,
but who'll save New South Wales?
Victoria is on the move,
and even Tassie's in the groove
The Territory's got nothing to prove,
but who'll save New South Wales?
Well, can you remember back as far
as Neville Rann and Robert Carr
when everything we didn't know
never hurt a bit?
But like solar flares and meteors
took out those ancient dinosaurs,
we hit the slide from king of beasts
to fossilised remains.
Queensland is do ing fine
and South Australia's got their wine
and
WA has got their minds,
but who'll save New South Wales?
Victoria is on the move,
even Tassie's in the
groove.
The Territory's got nothing to prove,
but who'll save New South Wales?
And good old Fiji loves a coup,
and Timor can be shaky too.
There's not much going for Nauru,
but who'll save New South Wales?
They're on the brink,
they're breaking ranks.
They've dropped the ball,
they're shooting blanks.
Obama may yet save the Yanks,
but who'll save New South Wales?
