  • Verse 1
    On June
    the
    5th, 1973,

    during his
    broadcast over
    CFRB
    Toronto,

    Mr.
    Gordon Sinclair,

    one of Canada's
    most respected
    broadcasters,

    had some thoughts
    concerning his

    American neighbors.

    These
    are his words.

    The
    United States
    dollar

    has taken another
    pounding

    on
    German, French
    and British exchanges,

    hitting
    the lowest point
    ever

    known in
    West Ger
    many.

    It
    has declined
    there by 41
    % since
    1971,

    an
    d this Canadian
    thinks
    it's time to

    speak up for
    the Americans

    as
    the
    most generous

    and
    possibly the
    least appreciated

    people in all
    the earth.

    As long
    as 60 years
    ago,

    when I
    first started to

    read news
    papers,

    I read
    of floods on
    the Yellow River

    and
    the Yangtze.

    Who rushed
    in with men
    and money

    to help?

    The Americans
    did.
    That's who.

    They've
    helped control floods

    on the Nile,

    the
    Amazon,
    the Ganges,

    and the Niger.

    Today
    the
    rich bottom
    land

    of the Mississippi
    is underwater,

    and no foreign
    land has sent

    dol
    lar to help.

    Germany,
    Japan,

    an
    d to a lesser
    extent,

    Britain and
    Italy were
    lifted out
    of the debris of

    war by the
    Americans,

    who poured
    in bil
    lions of
    dollars

    and
    forgave other
    billions in
    debts.

    None
    of those countries
    is today

    paying even
    the interest

    on
    its remaining debts

    to the United
    States.

    When the
    Frank was
    in danger

    of collapsing
    in
    1956,

    it was the
    Americans
    who propped
    it up,

    and their reward
    was to be insulted

    and
    swindled on the
    streets
    of Paris.

    was
    there.
    saw it.

    When distant
    cities
    are

    hit by earthquakes,

    it's
    the
    United States
    that hurries

    in to help them.

    Monaco and
    Nicaragua

    is one
    of the most recent examples.

    So
    far this
    spring,

    59
    American
    com
    munities

    have been flattened

    by tornadoes.

    Nobody has
    helped.

    The Marshall
    Plan,

    the Truman Policy,

    all pump billions
    upon billions

    of dollars

    into discouraged
    coun
    tries.

    And
    now newspapers

    in those countries

    are writing
    about the decadent,

    war
    -mongering
    Americans.

    I'd like to
    see
    just one
    of
    those countries

    that
    is gloating
    over
    the erosion

    of the United
    States

    dollar

    Build
    its
    own airplanes?

    Come on,
    let's hear it.

    Does any other

    country in the world

    have a plane

    to
    equal the Boeing
    jumbo jet?

    The Lockheed
    Tristar

    or the Douglas
    10?

    If so,
    why don't they fly

    them?

    Why do all international
    lines

    except Russia
    fly American
    planes?

    Why
    does no other land
    on
    earth

    even con
    sider putting
    a man
    or

    a woman on
    the moon?

    You talk about
    Japanese technocracy

    and
    you get radios.

    You
    talk about German
    technocracy,

    and you get automobiles.

    You
    talk about
    American technocracy,

    and you find
    men on the
    moon,

    not once,
    but several times,

    and
    safely home
    again.

    You
    talk about
    scandals,

    and the Americans put
    theirs right

    in the store
    window

    for
    every
    body to
    look at.

    Even the Draft
    Dodgers

    are not
    pursued and
    hounded.

    They're right here

    on our streets
    in Toronto.

    Most
    of
    them, unless they're

    breaking Canadian laws,

    are
    get
    ting American
    dol
    lars

    from
    mom and dad
    at home

    to
    spend here in Canada.

    When the Americans
    get out of this
    bind, as
    they will,

    who could blame
    them
    if they said,

    to
    hell
    with the rest
    of the

    world.

    Let someone else
    build or repair

    for
    eign dams

    or
    design foreign
    building

    that won't shake apart in

    earthquakes.

    When the
    railways of
    France, Germany,

    and India

    were
    breaking down through
    age,

    It
    was the Americans
    who rebuilt

    them.

    When the Pennsylvania

    Railroad

    and the New York
    Central went broke,

    Nobody
    loaned

    them an old caboose.

    Both are still
    broke.

    I can name
    you
    five thousand
    times

    When the
    Americans raced

    to the help
    of other people in
    trouble.

    Can you name
    me even one time

    When someone
    else
    raced

    to the Americans
    in trouble?

    don't
    think there was
    outside help

    Even
    dur
    ing the San
    Fran
    cisco earthquake.

    Our neighbors
    have faced it
    alone.

    And
    I'm one
    Canadian

    who's
    damn tired of

    hearing them kicked around.

    They will come out
    of this thing

    with their
    flag high.

    And
    when they do,

    they're entitled
    to thumb
    their nose

    at the
    land
    s that are
    gloating

    over their
    present troubles.

    I hope
    Canada is not
    one of these.

    And another
    thing,

    recently the American
    Red Cross

    was told at
    its 48th
    annual meeting in

    New Orleans that
    it was broke.

    This
    year's
    dis
    asters,

    with a year
    less than half over,

    has
    taken it all.

    And nobody,
    but nobody,

    has helped.

      可用调音

    受到全球吉他手的信赖

    • 最棒的调音应用

      MaddProfessor

      我之前下载过很多调音应用程序,这个是迄今为止最好的。它使用简单,超级易懂,还有很多有趣的和弦和歌曲可以帮助你学习新歌曲。我强烈推荐。

    • 设计精良的应用

      Rose the Black Cat

      我主要用这个应用为我的吉他调音,它让调音过程变得尤其简单。它还有着大量歌曲供你跟随弹奏,还会告诉你应该弹奏哪些和弦,或手指的把位应该怎么摆,这对我很有帮助。

    • 让我重新开始弹奏

      Tuliketsune

      我下载这个应用来给我的一把旧吉他调音,但我注意到这款应用有一个随着我弹奏驰名乐曲时让曲谱跟随和弦自动滚动的功能。出于某些原因,比起其他练习吉他的方式,这种方法更能让我激发学习动力。现在,我真的开始进行练习,并记住那些和弦的名称了。

    • 秘密武器

      Brad

      它不仅是一个调音器(也是我个人用过的最好的应用调音器),而且还有节拍器、游戏、和弦,以及大量乐器可供选择,而且超级容易操作。我喜欢它!感谢你们制作了一个很棒的应用程序。作为一个音乐人,我十分感谢!!!

    • 非常可靠的调音器

      theNewPaul

      这是一个很棒的应用程序!非常易于使用且非常可靠。如果你还是个新手,可以通过这个应用程序轻松快速地调音,免去烦恼。强烈推荐!

    • 这是有史以来最好的吉他调音器。

      Caleb Schafli

      它可以准确地调音你的吉他,让你的吉他音质达到最佳水平。我也喜欢所有其他的小游戏功能,因为它们教你如何弹奏不同的和弦,还可以通过聆听它们来学习如何识别这些和弦。更棒的是,这些功能都是离线可用的。

    • 调音和弹奏功能都很优秀

      Lynae T

      调音,寻找并弹奏我的最爱歌曲十分简单,我非常钟爱这一点。
