I've to panic, but not to panic buy I've
been trained to buy things my whole
And if I'm not gonna leave
We're gonna need something to eat
I didn't go crazy, just some cans of food
So I made sure we had some of that and
And the very next day all
And everybody's streaming it live
Facebook now everyone can see
That something big is happening
And the system that we know so well
And the word of the day is unprecedented
It's been a really really
Strange day, oh yes indeed. I'm
gonna keep on washing them
From the supermarket to the hospital,
are dwindling and the beds
An incoming disaster for our
They analyse the numbers an
We are told to keep our distance from
Don't go to work or attend
And if it doesn't kill me I'll
play my part in spreading it
But what on the street seems to
The train station's crowded
It's been another couple of strange days
The only thing we know for sure
is everything has changed
And if we can't follow advice,
then new laws will be drawn
And for everybody's benefit,
Locked down and locked on to govern
Business is closed as the death toll rises
Loved ones are lost without
The hospitals are full now an
d there's no end in sight
alone and in the distance
And that's never been healthy
As the fear, the panic and
The vulnerable people are
more vulnerable than ever
The only thing that's certain now is
But we must hold on to our hope
And know that it will pass
Now the curtain has fallen
We've revealed our true colours
And realised the importance
And people stacking shelves
Who de serve our applause
We'll have to rediscover our faith in science,
cos the virus doesn't care about religions or borders.
As we mourn our dead, and our days gone by,
and prepare for the biggest change in our
Strange days, the only thing that's certain now
is everything has changed
Strange days, oh yes indeed,
the whole world must unite to fight this common enemy
