with his pointy blue hat and

long silver beard.

Excalibur.

It was trapped in the stone,

from the fast -growing crowd,

The king's sword is mine,

Kay grunted and twisted and tugged,
the sword in the stone just would
not budge.
And then as
Kay stopped, all tired and faint,
Arthur grabbed the stuck
sword and drew it
again.

Huzzah! yelled the crowd as they led him through town,
and later that day gave him a crown.

Merlin just smiled and shut
Arthur a wink
For long had he known this
boy would be king
