A man walked down a busy road
There was a purpose in the way he strode
He had a mole on his lip,
a nose like a hawk
And a lobe like a wolf in
the way he walked
Let me ask you this,
based on first glance
Would you trust this man,
by the shape of his stance?
By the look of his face?
By the marbled boar?
By the leopard -skin sneakers
that he wore?
But going by stature,
it's just human nature
A woman came out of a hair saloon
She'd been in there since
half -past noon
It was nearly dark and getting late
And she sure looked ready
to catch her mate
Let me ask you this about this filly
If you took away all that's
fine and frilly
What would you find within
that coiffure head?
A little frightened bird instead?
A really timid creature
It's just human nature
I walked in the park one sunny day
There were scores of
sportsmen hard at play
Each had a shirt with
an emblem browed
And I couldn't help but coun
t out loud
There were wallabies, kiwis,
pumas, springboks
Lions and thistles,
feathers and shamrocks
Foxes and eagles, roses, white and red
Each pig -tailed in a coloured thread
Every plant and creature
It's just human nature
It's Saturday night and the
town's a zoo
They've been let out for a night or two
Ha, ha, ha, ha
He's peacock proud
His suit is loud
She's a silly goose
Let on the loose
He's as strong as an ox
But as sly as a fox
They flock like sheep
Round that boat peep
They're all out to reach her
It's just human nature
Thank you.
