A lot of these songs
have been requests this evening
and we have one in particular
which was requested
by an eminent head doctor
in my neighborhood whom
I visit only socially.
He likes this song because it's sort of,
well what it is actually it's an
old hymn.
We sing it at the request
of our more budget friends.
That's a technical term, you know.
So listen to it very reverently, please.
In this world we have our troubles,
sometimes lonesome, sometimes blue,
but the hope of life eternal
brightens all our hopes anew.
I don't want to get adjusted
to this world.
I got a home that's so much better,
I want to go to sooner or later.
I don't want to get adjusted
to this world.
I don't want to get adjusted
to this world.
I got a home that's so much better,
I want to go to sooner or later.
I don't want to get adjusted
to this world.
Thank you.
