How he came to life one day
There must have been some ma gic
in that old silk hat they found
When they placed it on his head
he began to dance around and around
just the same as you and me
So he said let's run and we'll
have some fun before I melt away
with a broomstick in his hand
Running here and there all
saying catch me if you can
He led them down the streets to town
But he only paused the moment
when he heard the cop said stop
I'll be back again someday
