Today's daily thought
is concerned with the Catch -22.
A Catch -22 is, by definition,
a logical paradox
arising from a situation
in which an individual
needs some thing
that can only be acquired
by not being in the very situation

they find themselves in.
Therefore, the acquisition of this thing
becomes logically impossible.
The selling of art for money,
using a corporate, or capitalist model,
is, in a sense a perfect example
of a catch -22 scenario.
The musician who acknowledges that their art,
has value,
could be intelligent to sign
a record deal,
and secure the services of a, corporation,
or, a music bank.
To, manue, facture,
and distribute their albums.
If the prime directive is to get the musical package to the masses,
much like FedEx,
the record company or middle man has
the ability to do so.
However record companies
are not.
Like FedEx, they are made up of groups of people,
people who want to express their creativity to the world
as well. I propose that there is no way
to use a group of people
to deliver your art to the world
in the pure, untouched fashion,
for the very hands and minds used to deliver the
music to the world impose their ideas
about the music on the music,
making the Catch -22 scenario
crystal clear.
When a musician signs
a record deal
with the intent to get their personal
expression to the world,
They employ the services
of other personalities,
who, then, use the musician's music
with the motive to get, their, personal expression to the world,
as well, making it impossible for the direct current

This is like the paradox,
